D & E founder Dave Downing has deep experience in all aspects of the building process and and is involved in every project from start to finish. His role ranges from determining project scope to careful, consistent on-site inspections to ensure your job is being built to the highest standards—standards on which D & E has built its reputation. D & E also has longstanding professional relationships with a wide variety of top quality trade and craftspeople who bring years of experience to your project.

We understand the importance of communication in providing superior service and making your vision become a reality. We work closely with you, your designers, and your architects throughout all phases of construction, from planning to completion. We respect the fact that we are working in your home, and as such we strive to minimize our impact during and after the construction process.

A Southern California native, Dave Downing has worked in the construction and remodeling industry for over 30 years and is highly skilled in all phases and trades of the construction industry. Dave has been married for 40 years and has two children and three beautiful grandchildren.
